Medium and Long Term weather forecast for Northern Mexico and Western US

The climate processes of El Niņo and La Niņa

As it is already known, the weather in a region of the world during a season depends mainly onthe occurrence of the phenomena of El Niņo or La Niņa.

This is the reason for the importance of determining the behaviour of the Pacific Ocean temperature, as this temperature will determine which of both phenomena will take place.

In the case where El Niņo is present, the Ocean temperature rises, increasing therefore the humidity of the air located at certain regions, as well as in other regions it will tend to be drier. In consequence, the possibility of precipitations will increase in certain areas, while in others, it will diminish.
